Knitwise:
I finished up the Lutea lace shoulder shell! I felted the hot pink purse for this weekends birthday party, and forgot it in the washer. I've never let anything go through all the cycles. Thankfully since it's a smallish item it didn't suffer from the spin. I did, however, forget to take before pics. And then I decided it didn't look much like the birthday girl...and so I knit like a mad woman all day yesterday (that's a tough feet with 5, 4, & 1) and I finished another 'ladybug bag' in lime and blue fusion. That knit up quick, but is so hard on the hands. I started following the pattern, but not doubling the yarn because it's bulky. I was 1 1/2 balls in before I thought "this purse is giant". So, I cast on again...with only 36 stitches instead of 50...much better. I just need to felt this one today...and take pictures. (Seriously...before I clicked publish, I threw the lime and blue bag in the washer...without taking photos! This one is a bit tougher to felt. It's on it's 3rd run through the agitate cycle. Finished photos soon.)
Kidwise:
We're sitting on the living room floor with sewing cards...listening to this CD (if you follow the link you can listen to the songs). The song "You knit me together" starts with Steve Green reading the scripture Psalm 139. 5 says, "That's so cool. God knits people and you can only knit a sweater."

5 is pretty smart! :)
(Giggle) We have that CD and know that song, but my kids have never made such a cute comment about it.
I'd love to see pics of all the knitting!
