Kids Say the Darndest Things - Part 2

Awhile back, I wrote about a conversation I had with 5. Well, this Friday he had more to say, totally out of the blue.

While watching the movie "Cars"...

5: "Hmmm."

Me: "What are you Hmmm-ing about?"

5: "I was just thinking about that."

Me: "Thinking about what..."

5: "J's mom & dad."

Me: "Can you explain?"

5: "Well, about right now they're figuring it out again."

Me: "Figuring what out???"

5: "Their Love!"

Then he smiles and goes back to his movie. Now, the evidence that this kid has some sort of gift. I saw J's mom...and she was wearing her wedding ring again. It's been at least a year since I've seen that on her hand. When I asked her when she put it on...exactly the time that 5 had his little epiphany. And it's not like we talk about adult things in front of this kid. He just knows that his friend's mom and dad need to live apart right now...and he is praying for them to get back together.
