Knitwise: The Lutea-lace shoulder shell is almost done, I'm so excited. I could have finished last night, but just after midnight I dropped a stitch when was doing the 3-needle bind off on the second shoulder. I couldn't figure out how to pick up the stitches within the lace pattern. So, I went to bed. I'll unknit until I can fix the stitches...should only be the last 3 rows. I'm so excited about this sweater. I only used 3 balls of cotton-ease (I had bought 4 to be safe) to knit the size 40. That's $12 since I bought the yarn on sale! I figured that I didn't want an expensive disaster...but this was such a simple knit...I could have splurged. I may knit another. I'll finish and post photos soon. Did I say how excited I am???
Lutea had to take a back-seat for a bit so I could knit up another purse for a kid birthday. I better felt the purse today...the party is Saturday. It's ready with all the ends weaved in. This time I'll remember before and after photos.
FO's mean I can cast on for something new!

package 2 is now en route... with a holiday here and a holiday there i'm figuring next thursday or friday. it should make it across the border before canada day!
