I’m midway through another asymmetrical cable hat from the One Skein book. I’m knitting the child’s size this time. I think it will be for my cousin’s son…since they live where it snows and my boys don’t think they need to own pants. This year, I had to prove it was raining or really cold for 5 and 4 to wear jeans. They think shorts are fine year round.

I’m into the 5th skein of wool for my Felted Bag exchange bag. That’s all I’ll say about that project….
I’ve knit up another Vintage Bubble Bag. It’s awaiting handles before it heads to the washer. It’s going to a friend moving this month to Oklahoma.

I knit the Ruffles to Riches bag. I didn’t like the idea of finding tubing for the I-cord, so I bought handles. I definitely want a lining in this purse. The purple matches some of my clothes…so maybe I’ll keep this one. If not it’s headed to the Christmas pile.

I finally felted my Banana Hobo bag. That’s been sitting around for months now. I like it, I’m just not sure what to do with it. It wasn’t for me when I started it, and while I could keep it, it feels like it should be a gift.

I knit this with Lion Brand Landscapes that I got for $2 a ball. I knew it wasn't 100% wool, but I wasn't sure what to expect when felting. The colored blips didn't felt the same as the camel color base. I like the result though...

I really need to start getting a gift list ready for Christmas 2007…then I can assign FO’s a name and I’ll feel better. I can see why people knit socks. You can never have too many, and they’re small…yet because of the small needles they take time. Once you run out of family to gift your knitting to…where do you store the handknits that were knit just to knit. I’ll really have to look at my Mason-Dixon book and think about surfaces I can cover so we’re not stashing purses in every closet. km

p.s. keep watching the mail... the tracking hasn't been updated since friday but i'm SURE that it is much closer to you!
I like all of your bags! I have one ready to throw in the washer, too. I didn't pay attention to my gauge or the number of stitches I cast on. This thing is massive. We'll just have to see what happens... :)
