Healthwise: This morning, 4 out of 5 of us are sick. The kids have croupy coughs and runny noses. I have a sore throat and a runny nose. M is outnumbered...and it may just be a matter of time before this is a family party.
Kidwise: I'm sad though because 6 woke up and said "Mom, my prayer didn't work. Last night, I prayed to get better, and I'm still sick." M is explaining that prayer isn't just about telling God what to do and when to do it. I'm just sipping my tea and trying not to talk...because it hurts my throat.
Knitwise: Last night I couldn't sleep. So I started another ladybug purse. I know, I thought I was done. But I had the yarn. I have the pattern memorized. And my cousin has 2 little girls who will love purses for Christmas. We don't usually exchange gifts with all the extended family, but I love these little girls (4 & 2...the same months as my 4 & 2 even). And, I haven't been sleeping well. I almost finished the first purse last night. The I-cord handles take a while, but those I can take with me to work on wherever. The purses will look like this pink & purple one. One with a pink handle and one with a purple handle. (I got a huge bag of that yarn on clearance, and it felts great...but what other than a little girls purse do you make?)
Oh, and yesterday I finally felted my Sunset Tote. It's been on my WIP list for so long. I bought Grayson E. handles in purple for the tote. I didn't buy them here...but it's the link that I got to work. I'm so excited to be almost done. It will take awhile to dry, then I may want some lining...but it's almost done!!!

You've been busy with your knitting and felting. I'm sorry that you and the kids are sick. That's no fun.
Sure hope M doesnt' catch it, but do hope you all get better real soon. Being sick is no fun especially all at the same time!
Love the purses and the girls will love em!
Prayers always work just not as fast as we want them to.
Would love to see your felted handbags. I'm working on one too!
