Here's 2 with Nana petting a Camel. Camel is soooo soft. I think I'll have to get some camel yarn. (It's no wonder where 2 got her gorgeous hair color...their heads blend...and I'm lucky...my mom's just now getting a few grays.)

Living Nativity
A local church (though not the one we go to) has a Living Nativity every year. This was their 21st year of doing these performances for the community. We've been going for the last 5 years, only missing last year. I love that the kids have memories of this. Here they are with M in front of the stable. There are sheep...just to the left.

that looks like so much fun! one of our local churches is doing "a walk through bethlehem" as part of our local first night (new year's eve) celebrations - same sort of idea - real animals!
Neat! I was able to take part in a live Nativity when I was a teenager. It was a lot of fun, but cold!
It's funny, now, since i knit, when I see sheep, I think, "wool" I don't think I ever thought of sheep, as anything but sheep before. :-) Well, there's lamb_____, but, we won't go there. :-)
