Felissa Bag

I've been meeting with M's cousin once a week to teach her to knit. She chose a pattern from my Pursenalities book, and I made the same bag along with her. This was a great first project since you knit 25 purl 6 knit 25 purl 6 (or something like that) each round. She got the hang of knits and purls quickly. I felted mine this week. I wanted to photograph my finished bag with her pre-felted bag, but I don't think that's going to work out. I need this as a gift, and her bag still needs the I-cord and crochet finishing. The finished bag is really cute, and dried perfectly with a box of Delux Mac & Cheese inside. It's little, but with a long strap so it can be worn messenger bag style. It still needs a closure. I opted to add a magnet instead of the button loop shown in the pattern. This was fun...since I knit with a friend.
