Iris

Before my neighbor moved, she divided her iris' and shared these with us. I really enjoy them. I wish I had gotten a clipping from her Matilija Poppy. I can still see it in her yard, but the new neighbor isn't a garden lover like she was. Knitwise: I'm meeting M's cousin again for knitting tonight. We've been meeting every week for 3 weeks and she's making progress with the knit and purl stitch. She brought her knitting into the breakroom at her work, and another gal asked if I could teach her too. Great! I'm passing the baton! This world will be full of sticks and string soon. We're planning on making this a regular meeting...2 Friday's a month. I'm so excited. Maybe I'll be able to gather a group to go see the Yarn Harlot in September.
