I'll take photos later...today is a special day. Right now 5 is out to breakfast with his dad. Such a special treat for the first day of school. 4 is a little sad. He said, "I thought today was my first day of school too..."

it's tough to be a middle child, especially when the oldest isn't that much older. does 4 get his special breakfast next year or the year after?
(5 would be going into grade 1 here since we use the calendar year end for school cutoff, but that varies - a LOT!)
