Baby Knitting Update...

I finished one Baby Bolero. Now, I have less than 2 weeks to finish the 2nd. I should have chosen to make them in different colors for the twins...I just cast on for #2 and I'm already a little tired of the yellow. I guess that's just because I know what it will look like and there isn't the excitement of discovering how the yarn and the pattern and the color all work together. It's a good thing I really like the finished sweater.

Baby Bolero from One Skein. Knit with about 3/4 skein of Bernat Cotton-tots. I love how soft this yarn is. I used a 3 needle bind off at the shoulder, and picked up stitches to knit the sleeves in the round. My measurements are right on...but I'm wondering if these sleeves are a bit wide for skinny little baby arms. The sweater fits my model great...but she's a little fluffier than a newborn.

That's a very cute sweater. Your model made me laugh! She looks so happy. :)

that is SO cute! and you don't want anything snug on a baby so i'm sure that the sleeves will be perfect.

That sweater is adorable! You do lovely work. I have to pick up One Skein next time there's a sale somewhere, I've seen lots of projects from there that I really like.

What an adorable sweater! I really have to find myself a baby to knit for!

I am completely amazed at the numbers you posted for your VBS. Wow! How do you even begin to organize that? It must have been an incredible experience!
