When I left for Napa, the living room looked like this...
I left on Sunday morning with Nana (my mom) and the kids. Mike stayed to finish painting the wall and drove up with his parents on Tuesday. That gave him all day Monday to make phone calls to companies as well. MIL & FIL vacation in Napa frequently too. For years, we've been saying that we need to make our vacations concurrent so we can spend time together. I'm so glad it worked out this time. Mike drove home with his parents on Saturday, and I stayed on until Tuesday. He had time to stain the shelves & move the them back into the living room without little ones under foot. I came home to this...
I think I'll have one more post when I get things organized on the shelves again. M still has to hook up the volume controls for the garage and backyard. The ones we had weren't working so he took them back. We never did buy a light for the kitchen and now our cash flow won't allow choosing a fun fixture. I'm thinking we'll have to buy the $7 glass square at the HD since I can't cook with no light.

I bet that was a nice sight to come home to. :-) It's always less stressful to come home to less of a mess than you left with.

It has really come along! I have my kitchen light sitting in my living room that was from my kitchen from before the remodel...it's got palmtrees and monkeys on the rim. Now that's fun...I'd ship it to you if you'd like it! ;-)
