Knit Stop-Motion

You HAVE to see this commercial!

It's a busy week here. I had to visit the lab yesterday for a blood draw. Today is my last physical therapy appointment. Thursday I visit the orthopedist to have him look at my back. I've been not talking a lot about it because I'm trying to pretend it isn't happening. I've been in pain since Thanksgiving. I take advil with each meal. At first I didn't go to the Dr. because everyone that was going had H1N1 or some other germ/cold/flu. I didn't want to get sick in the waiting room. I held out until January (the holidays were over) and then I went to the Dr. Trying to handle things with non invasive treatments she sent me to physical therapy. I've been working on core strength. That is something I needed, but now it's obvious my pain is more than just a weak core. If you think of it, could you pray that the Ortho DR really sees what's wrong? And that the blood tests show what they need to. At this point, the DRs are thinking RA or Fibromyalgia or something else in the auto-immune spectrum. I really don't want to be needing a DR with all the HealthCare DRAMA!

That's awful to be in pain like that. I hope that it is something that can be fixed and not just managed.

Very cute commercial!

Now, about your pain. I am so sorry to hear about it. And I totally get your concern about the current state of affairs with health care.
Let's pray.
Father in heaven, first I want to praise You. I praise You because You are worthy. You are perfectly faithful. You are holy and good. You never change and we can trust You at all times for all things. And so I give You praise!
God, I thank You that You know exactly what is going on in KM's body. You are not wondering, and You are not worried. Would You reveal to her doctors whatever it is they need to know? Would You use the tests and the technology available to us to give her the answers she needs?
I know none of this is too difficult for You. And I thank You!
God, I know that even now You could touch KM's body and bring her complete relief from the pain. YOU could do that!
But I also know that sometimes You have a wonderful purpose for our pain. To grow us, or to reach someone else. I don't know the purpose for KM's pain - for any of her current trials. But I trust You. And I know she does, too. Please hold her closely today. Please show her Your power and glory as You work out this circumstance for her.
I'm asking it in the wonderful, powerful, beautiful, matchless Name of Jesus.
Amen and amen!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!:) How awesome to find another homeschooler in CA! I'm in the Antelope Valley!

I will add you to my prayer list....I have many friends and family who have fibro...I've never been tested but since it is genetic I'm sure I have it with all the aches and pains I have.

Look forward to getting to know you! I'm knittinwolf on Ravelry and have a group called Wolfe Farms. Will be having another charity contest in June...preemie stuff!:)

Have a blessed day!

(Glad to see that you and Dawn connected. I should have thought to "introduce you" before!)

You're in my prayers. Love the prayer Irritable Mother wrote for you.

thanks for the coffee recipe. I have the starbucks peppermint in my fridge. I just haven't gotten the right mix yet and the coffee mate is so easy. I'll keep trying.

Love that video.
Sorry to hear about your back.
From one pain to another :)
Seriously, cortisone shot fixed me after 10 years of painful degenerative disk disease, exercise, chiropractor, physical therapy.
I hope you don't mind the unsolicited advise. I know everyone's case is different.
Hope it works out for you.
