Update from yesterday...We're clear this morning...but my heart won't be settled for a few days when I can be sure this won't pass to other kids...or myself...or my husband.

Living in the Mundane
I read Kristen's Tuesday post over at "We are THAT Family" this morning. By the way...I love her name. =0) Oh, did that video speak to me. Living in the Mundane....bleaching every surface that has been touched by barf. Finding a wet pull up that had been put back into the PJ drawer by one 4 yo...and now washing all the contents of that drawer. I am living in the MUNDANE. It's my decision to be stuck here or to invite the Glorious to join me...and change my heart. Go watch the video by Christy Nockels and then there's a free song to download. Invite the Glorious into your Mundane. I know I'm not the only one with STACKS of dirty laundry...and kids that spill when they eat...and a house that gets messy while we're all asleep.

Here's hoping it doesn't spread. Tummy bugs are the pits.
Great post! Life is all about choices, and we can find ways to rise above the mundane. All those icky things you mentioned? The actions you took were physical expression of love and nuturing to your family...
Be well!
We love pork. It really is easy to make, doesn't take long and it isn't very expensive.
I'll shred the remaining pork butt for BBQ on Sunday.
And I am sure this comment will seem very strange to anyone reading comments from this post!
you poor girl! i really hope that things have settled done and that everyone is well and happy. i love the mundane parts of life. for me they hold and odd and special joy and help to make me feel grounded in reality.
I know all about growing piles of laundry...! As they get older, they can start helping with the laundry! My 15 yr old can wash most of the clothes, and he and my 10 & 8 yr olds can fold and put away. The hardest part for me is reminding them to do it! :-)
I couldn't agree more with you in this post. Inviting the Glorious into the mundane - that's what my book (Finding Joy) is all about!
Went back to read your previous post to find out what you meant. I'm glad you're clear now, and pray God will lead you through this valley.
I am of the opinion that sometimes He DOES give us more than we can handle - but it's never too much for HIM. Cling to Him, my friend. Cling to Hm!
