GREENDAY

This was our 2nd annual GreenDay with friends.

Today we played with our green duplos.

Stamped and colored with green crayons, markers, and colored pencils.

Marble painted shamrocks. When they were dry the kid got to cut out the shapes.

Ate lunch...The sandwiches weren't green, but the lemonade was, and so was the jello. =0) Lentil and Split Pea soup for the moms...and Chips with guacamole.

fingerpainted...

played play-dough...

read Little Bear...

Frosted Sugar Cookies...

Made jingle bell bracelets...

& took a nap.... (Well, at least 2 took a nap, and the boys are resting. Our friends are off to pick up some other kids from school.) I thought I'd start to download photos and write my thoughts before our math and reading time. I guess that's where all my time goes. We'll definitely do GreenDay again next year...but we're thinking about celebrating some other colors this spring and into the summer. Should be fun.

That's really cool!!! I like the green bracelets. I think that color days are an awesome idea!! :)

Thanks for sharing that!! It was really encouraging because I'm looking forward to college but also somewhat nervous about the transition.

Ouch! My thumb makes a funny clicking noise when I knit. I went to a specialist who gave me a brace. It helps most of the time, which is good!

What a great day! I forgot about marble painting - is there anything more fascinating than watching that little ball make lines across a paper? (I'm easily amused, I know.)
