Gift knitting and a song...but it's not Happy Birthday!

Another "ladybug bag"! This is the first of 3 I need to make this month. Having 5, 4, & 2 means a lot of birthday parties for kids that age. This pink and purple purse is going to a soon to be 3 year old. I think today I'll ask what the other girls favorite colors are. I suspect one of them might say orange.

While the girls are getting felted purses, the boys have been getting marshmallow shooters and this book. With all the sprinkler repairs we've made here, there's never a shortage of PVC pipe. Even 2 is pretty good at launching the marshmallows. We try to aim for the hill in our yard so that we don't have sticky everywhere.

And since you can add a video to blogger now, I thought I'd try. I got this in an email this morning...turn up the volume!

***Okay, trying to add the video caused my computer to wig out. Check out these Youtube videos.

marshmallow shooters are SO COOL! i'm sure that all the kids love them.

p.s. re: organe kitty socks - do it! one ball of opal will easily be enough yarn for socks for 4 and 5. younger son is now saying that he needs more rainforest socks...

I believe I know a boy or two who would love that book!

The mittens I'm doing are in the One Skein Wonders book. I think 3 out of every 4 projects I make is from that book!

Those marshmallow shooters look like fun! My contractor was talking about them yesterday, saying his son has shot them up on the unreachable except with a high ladder foyer window. I like your idea of shooting them outside much better. Lucky birthday kids!
