Ravelry
I got my Scout's Swag yarn this week, and although I HEART handknit socks, I really want some fingerless mitts. So, I started looking at patterns on Ravelry...for a fingering weight yarn. And then, I see my FRIENDS adding patterns to their queues and favorites. This is so fun. Anybody interested in a KAL. I'm hoping to CO for some fingerless mitts as a Valentine's Day gift to me. If I get going, then I'll have a month and that's totally doable. My Red Pear Tweed is waiting to be wound up. If you haven't seen the projects I'm talking about, I'm looking at MittEnvy and Fishtail Wristwarmers. I don't even care if we're knitting the same pattern to be a KAL...just some hand warmers. Who's in?

I have found that I cannot seem to committ to anything the past few months, and seeing as I am an "all or nothing" gal, I'll do nothing for now.

Hey, I just ordered some Pastaza to make a hat, and I was thinking I'd have enough to make a pair of matching mitts. I'll check back when I get the yarn and figure out a pattern.
me too. I'm about to co fetching for my daughter. she works at a super market and her hands get cold.
